The Catholic Men’s Conference of the Carolinas was founded in 2011 by Knights of Columbus Council 770 in Charlotte, NC with the blessings of former bishop of Charlotte, The Most Reverend Peter Jugis. Its mission was to organize an annual Catholic men's conference that focuses on the sacraments and feature dynamic Catholic speakers who pointedly challenge each participant to grow in their Catholic faith, deepen their relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ, and live up to the callings as Catholic men, husbands, and fathers. Over the years the CMCC has ministered to thousands of Catholic men throughout the Carolinas and beyond. Crest Description: "Ferrum Ferro Accuitur" - Iron Sharpens Iron (Proverbs 27:17) This is the slogan of the Catholic Men's Conference. Four pillars: The sacraments (chalice), scripture (bible), the rosary, and fellowship (hammer and anvil), Lamb of God (Behold the Lamb of God).
